Ajax wins first game against RKC Waalwijk
Ajax Amsterdam has won the first game of the 2006/2007 season. Ajax easily beat a low quality RKC Waalwijk 5-0.
The game started with some bad news for Ajax because Grygera got injured after playing 20 minutes. It was 2-0 at half-time and Ajax scored 3 more goals after the break.

Van Basten Added Huntelaar To Team For Friendly Against Ireland
Marco van Basten left Klaas Jan Huntelaar at home during the FIFA worldcup soccer. Butnow Marco van Basten and John van 't Schip have added Huntelaar to the squad for the friendly game that Holland is playing against Ireland on August the 16th. There are 6 other Ajax team members added to the squad: Urby Emanuelson, John Heitinga,Hedwiges Maduro, Wesley Sneijder,Ryan Babel and Maarten Stekelenburg
