Ajax Amsterdam Has One Of The Best Seasons So Far Ever With Coach Henk ten Cate

Ajax Amsterdam has only started better one time in the last ten years in the Dutch league. With coach Henk ten Cate Ajax has won nine of the first ten games. Ajax only lost against Roda JC.

Only during the 1997/98 season did Ajax start better. With then coach Morten Olsen Ajax managed to grab 30 points from 10 games; Ajax actually won the first eleven matches during that season. In the last ten seasons Ajax was in first place after ten games; this ended up in winning three championship.

Only PSV Eindhoven did better than the current Ajax formation in the last ten years. During the 1999/2000 season PSV grabbed 28 points from ten games with coach Erik Gerets

Ajax Beats Feyenoord 4-0, Huntelaar Scores 2 Goals

What should have been a real match ended up in a demolition match. Ajax Amsterdam has beaten Feyenoord Rotterdam 4-0. Feyenoord Rotterdam is lucky that it wasn't 10-0 because Ajax really missed some goal chances that should have been converted. Feyenoord got 2 red cards; one for van Hooijdonk and the other one for Pardo. Ajax is still number one in the Dutch league with 21 points out of 8 games followed by PSV with 19 points and AZ Alkmaar with 17 points. Feyenoord is in 9th place with 11 points. Koeman has to be worried with that a standing like that for Feyenoord

Huntelaar Will Miss Qualification Games Against Bulgaria And Albania

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar won't play for at least two weeks because of an ankle injury. this means that he will miss the qualification games against Bulgaria en Albania. Ajax Amsterdam was hoping that the injury would not be too bad. Huntelaar won't play for at least two weeks and maybe even four. hopefully we will see him in action against FC Groningen on the 14th of October.
